Requests For Future Upgrades

Two items that I have noticed and questioned why, I am requesting for future upgrades:

[1] Very limited size of videos that you can upload and integrate into Proclaim. A couple of times now, I have tried to put a video into my sermon presentation, only to be told that the video was too large. If I remember correctly, the limit is 600 Mb. Example: Tomorrow I wanted to show a 1.3 Gb MOV video of our recent Missions Team trip to Mexico. Can't do it. So during the sermon, I will have to leave Proclaim and run the video by itself. That is not only a pain for the tech guys, it also makes the Proclaim version of my sermon not good. What would be wrong with having a 2 or even 3 Gb limit for videos?

[2] This second one goes along with video issues. A couple of other times, I have incorporated videos of something that were small enough to import into the Proclaim presentation. But then the video did not get included (at least it didn't work), in the online published version of the sermon. If that is a Proclaim/SoundFaith issue, I would sure like it fixed. If it is not and must be a problem on my end, please let me know.

For Your first case, you should be able to load the video into the presentation computer but just choose to keep it on that computer

In addition 600Mb should be good for an hour‘s video at 720p, with the right compression. Even at 1080p you should get 15 minutes. Better compression works best all round.

Do you mean that you have never successfully got a video to load - or there were a couple of times that it didn't?

If it never works, please outline the steps you are taking as I find it works very well

Bill is right. Videos added to Proclaim don’t get included in the online sermon video that‘s uploaded to soundfaith.com. A few people have asked for that feature to be added.

Mark is correct, videos currently do not get captured with the sermon recording.

Rev. Bill, I suspect what you may be doing is going to Media, Import Media > Images/Videos, which will not give you an option of using the video "locally" because it's directly uploading into the media boards.

What you want to do is, go to Add Item > Video, and use the "Add Video" button to locate your video. If it is over the size limit of 600MB, you will still be allowed to use the video, set to local only.
