If you click on the information pane associated with a resource (icon at top right of the resource) you will see options to change the title or the short title (the same options are available in the Library Window in the Information Panel)

Thank you. I finally figured out where to find this, but how do I get Logos to use this instead of other title? And what are all the ways I would use this? I see abbreviated and alterante title in library. How can I use them and choose them?

The abbreviated title will e.g. be used in tab headers, or in the left side of the right-click menu. You can use them in the command box (such as: open BDAG, where BDAG is the abbreviated title for "A Greek-English Lexicon of the New Testament and Other Early Christian Literature, 3rd ed.").
I don't know if alternate titles are actually used someplace, or simply just stored in the library database. They seem not to work in the open command (e.g. open textus receptus only offers those books with textus receptus in the main title, not in the alternate title, such as Scrivener's TR)
Have joy in the Lord!

I changed the long name of an Anchor Bible commentary in the information panel. It showed up that way in a passage guide but did nto affect its citation at all. This is something that I have been wanting for a very long time.
Thank you

I figured out that I can change the names of the commentaries in the passage guide so they don't all look alike. I can add series and author, something I have wanted to do for a long time.
Thank you
