I've updated to the 4.0c. But I can't find out how to get the legacy-reverse-interlinear as illustrated in this screenshot
http://www.logos.com/media/blog/legacy-reverse-interlinear-display.png
As you can see below mine doesn't have the legacy reverse interlinear display.
Did you receive a large 1 GB download because that contains the "legacy" updates for the RI's?
not sure. mine downloads automatically. it shows my version is 4.0c (4.03.3.9511)
From your screen shot, you don't have the updates because the "display" down arrow allowing you to select the inline/legacy RI is not available to you. I would exit the L4 program and re-sign in with you account information (and a live Internet connection) and the software should pick up the need to down load the missing files. If this doesn't work in the first few minutes, try "update now" and/or "update resources" in the command box and see if you get a message that "resources were found and will be downloaded." If all else fails, call customer service in the morning.
Hi Aaron,
I wanted to ask what Logos Package you are using. Note that from the table in http://www.logos.com/comparison that the reverse-interliners only come with base packages, and not in the lowest level one (Home).
If you don't have one of the indicated packages, then maybe you don't actually have a license for the resource. Logos will of course be happy to sell you an upgrade I expect.
If you have one of the packages, but RIs don't show up, then of course continue to explore a technical solution.
Regards,Jim.
@Rosie indexing finished.
@Jim I'm using use the Leaders package.
ah.. headed to work
I've got the same issue and also not the home package (I think; who knows?; one of the forum discussions). Personally, I use the regular interlinears, not the reverse ones. But reading the Logos blog on the new update, it's getting a bit tiresome after 6 months of updates not to have a clue what you're supposed to have and how it's supposed to 'arrive'. Forum answers 'maybe the indexer' and so forth. It amazes me that a software company is so reluctant to provide guidance on some of the most basic of its processes.
Hi Aaron:
I'm having the same issue as you. I have been in contact with Support via e-mail (can't be in front of my computer during their office hours). I believe I will have an answer tonight when i get home from work. If so, I'll post here.
I have the Bible Study package and my KJV 1900 has the Display menu as expected (probably yours does, too), but the ESV doesn't. It's clear you should be getting the inline, since you have the 2 screen interlinear.
