Pre-pub: CSB Apologetics Study Bible

The revised edition of the CSB Apologetics Study Bible could use some pre-pub love: https://www.logos.com/product/144309/csb-apologetics-study-bible
I have this in print. It is a great resource to have for quick reference for passage specific questions/objections people may have to Christianity. The more in-depth "sidebar" articles are also great. Publisher blurb:
- Includes commentary from over 90 of the best apologetics thinkers of our day in one resource, including: Ted Cabal, Lee Strobel, Chuck Colson, Paul Copan, Norm Geisler, Hank Hanegraaff, Josh McDowell, Albert Mohler, J.P. Moreland, Ravi Zacharias, and many more — plus a lead article by Lee Strobel (The Case for Christ).
Better yet, pick it up with the student edition for just $10 more: https://www.logos.com/product/144311/csb-apologetics-study-bible-collection

I signed up last July but am feeling a bit pessimistic about both now. Glad to hear your endorsement.

Could be there are many users who have the 2007 edition, as I do, and don't think they will get $30 of additional utility from the revision.

I was wondering about this myself as I have the older version. I can't seem to find any information online that explains the differences between the new version and the old version. Is it simply a translation update? If so, doesn't Logos just provide the notes for these types of purchases? I'm trying to understand what the difference is between the two but not having much success [:S]

Good question. I took some time today to compare the various versions. It looks like the main difference between the 2007 edition and the 2017 edition is in the articles. The newer edition has about 25% more articles. The verse-by-verse notes have some changes, but nothing major - perhaps 90% the same text, 5% rewording, and 5% actual changes.
The student edition appears to have the same verse-by-verse notes as the 2017 revision. The articles and "twisted scriptures" are entirely different.
It certainly would be nice if Logos offered discounts on new editions of books to people who own the older ones. Unfortunately, the publishers probably aren't very interested in cooperating. FWIW, I have the 2007 version in Logos and am still pre-ordering the newer edition+student edition bundle.
