Pretend I know nothing about the subject...what direction should I go?
What‘s do you mean by MRA?
If you're a paying Logos customer, go for the Logos app.
If you're a paying Verbum customer, go for the Verbum app.
If you just want to read eBooks, but not study the Bible, go for the Faithlife eBooks app.
If you're dipping your toe in the Biblical studies water without wanting to pay, go for the Faithlife Study Bible app.
Noet. It's someone-else's-theology free. Plus the late evening hues of purplish-blue are most striking, when you begin highlighting. And the Iliad that won't die reminds you of the 1st century (and earlier). Clement could have used it to explain the resurrection, instead of Heliopolis.
Mobile Reader App. I didn't get it at first either.
I should have been more clear...I am asking about which reading device (pad) I should be using. That will determine which app I choose, I suppose. Didn't FL end Kindle support?
If your only use for the device is mobile reading, you might be happy with the large phones (e.g. iPhone 8+). Or possibly the iPad mini.
I did much of my seminary reading and continued to do much of my study on an iPad 9.7" - I'm talking for years. In January I got the 10.5" iPad Pro so I could start preaching from an iPad. And I continue to use it for the majority of all reading I do. That's split between the Logos Bible app and the Kindle app, plus Pocket. While I think there's a legitimate debate about Android vs iOS for phones, I don't think there's a debate in pads/tablets. (Yes, I know that will elicit conflicting responses. To save time, you're wrong.

When in comes to mobile... a large(r) iPad will give you the best experience available IMO. I don't have any experience with the FaithLife Android apps, but when I see my friends "fighting" with their Androids I simply loose my non-existant desire to change that! 😜
FaithLife did end (or rather Amazon ended) the "send to Kindle" feature. That said, if you really want to ONLY read and don't care whether your highlights are useable, you might be best served by using a kindle (there are ways to get your books onto kindle, and there are links/discussions in the forums concerning that).

I use the Logos and Faithlife Bible apps on my Kindle Fire. I have side loaded the Google Play Store and downloaded the app from there.
The Logos app is still available via the Fire Store, as is the Faithlife Study Bible, Bible Screen, Verbum, Biblia!, Proclaim Remote, and Noet.
