What is the best MRA for Logos?

If you're a paying Logos customer, go for the Logos app.

If you're a paying Verbum customer, go for the Verbum app.

If you just want to read eBooks, but not study the Bible, go for the Faithlife eBooks app.

If you're dipping your toe in the Biblical studies water without wanting to pay, go for the Faithlife Study Bible app.

If your only use for the device is mobile reading, you might be happy with the large phones (e.g. iPhone 8+). Or possibly the iPad mini.

I did much of my seminary reading and continued to do much of my study on an iPad 9.7" - I'm talking for years. In January I got the 10.5" iPad Pro so I could start preaching from an iPad. And I continue to use it for the majority of all reading I do. That's split between the Logos Bible app and the Kindle app, plus Pocket. While I think there's a legitimate debate about Android vs iOS for phones, I don't think there's a debate in pads/tablets. (Yes, I know that will elicit conflicting responses. To save time, you're wrong.

Didn't FL end Kindle support? 

I use the Logos and Faithlife Bible apps on my Kindle Fire. I have side loaded the Google Play Store and downloaded the app from there.

The Logos app is still available via the Fire Store, as is the Faithlife Study Bible, Bible Screen, Verbum, Biblia!, Proclaim Remote, and Noet.

Well, that's been the case in the past...if memory serves. But I'm not an Apple user and doubt I ever will be, so I guess that should be figured into the equation. I haven't paid much attention to the MRA discussions on the forum, because I've not had need up to this point. I have considered getting a reader of some sort, but it must have never been that pressing a concern since I haven't made a move yet. I don't have a smart phone that I use to access the internet (just calls and occasional texts), so there's that, also. 

There’s almost parity between the Logos App on iOS, Android and Kindle Fire, so if all you’re doing is using Kogos, it doesn’t really matter. However, if you’re in the market for a tablet generally, there is really only one choice - the iPad. Software support for Android tablets is very poor. Many Android tablets are cheap but not cheerful, and can be painfully slow. The better android tablets are no cheaper than the iPad. So unless you’re very very committed to Android, or you have a low budget and are prepared to put up with a slow device, then the iPad really is your only option.
