How do I get the digital sign feed to play on a TV in the narthex of our church?
We are a small congregation and run Proclaim off my laptop on Sunday mornings. During the week, I may or may not be in the building, and lots of other people are (A.A., Girl Guides, community choirs, Alzheimer Society, etc.) I would love to turn TV that we have for overflow on Sundays and Holy Days, into a digital sign using one of the sign feeds from Proclaim.
The only way that I've been able to do that so far is to use a Chromecast device and cast the page from my laptop to the TV. That works fine when I'm in the building, but obviously misses the opportunity to share our message when I'm not.
I'm assuming something like a Chromebit device could display the feed for me, but I don't know how difficult it is to configure, and what would I'd need to do when someone turns off the TV, so I could get the sign back up and running -- which will happen knowing my congregation.
If anyone has experience doing this, please let me know what you've done so I can see if we can handle such a solution here in the congregation I serve.
Thanks.
Peace & Blessings,
