Manage which resources are downloaded to computer
Is there a way to only download certain resources to my computer, as a way to free up disk space? I don't need all of them all the time!

Sorry but this is not currently possible

Well could one hide every resource one owns and then just unhide the ones one wants? That would be incredibly tedious and I can't imagine why one would want to but I'd think that would work here?

Mattillo-But I'm pretty sure that hiding them doesn't remove them from your hard drive, this defeating the purpose of the question. I actually think there are some ways--I had some Perseus resources removed a few years back but you are very limited in your ability to do that and I believe I had to get tech support involved to do it

Ok. I wasn't sure and thought I might suggest that. I don't hide any resources anymore but in the beginning I did. All I remember is when I unhid them they would have to redownload and index before use

Hiding does remove the resources from the hard drive so is an option. But please note it removes them from all systems you use to run Logos including any mobile devices - and it can be a tedious process to restore them (it needs to be done individually)
With reference to removing Persues resources - this was often done by asking Customer Seevinces to remove them from your account and then they couldn’t be restored if you wanted them later

Hiding resources does not remove them from your mobile devices - at least for iOS devices. This has never been the case. It does not hide them from the web app either based on the test I just did on a hidden resource.

Intriguing - as they are removed for me.
On my desktop I have hidden "Andria (Latin)" for example and it doesn't show in the desktop library.
And it doesn't show on my iPad either
As Kevin points out at https://community.logos.com/forums/p/120390/796127.aspx#796127 this is intended behaviour.
So I'm intrigued that you are not seeing this doc.

I agree with this.

I've dug a little more into it Graham since we were seeing something different and it seems you are correct, what was happening with the file I was looking at is for some reason my Logos Library at all, even though the physical file is on the drive. Hence because it was not showing in my library I thought I had hidden it but in fact for some reason it has just dropped out of my library even though the file exists. Hence why my mobile app is picking it up, it's not really hidden at all but just absent from my desktop library. Not too concerned about it as it's simply a duplicate of Easton's Dictionary that was put out by E4. So mystery solved and your understanding is correct and my understanding was misguided by a missing file that was leading me to believe something different was happening.

Good to clear that up
