Bug 4.0c: Pseudepigrapha links not working correctly (now fixed)

I'm having some issues with links to the Pseudepigrapha. I suspect this is a resource problem. It certainly happens with links to the Martyrdom of Isaiah. Those references to chapters 1, 2, 3 and 5 should all be able to point to the Pseudepigrapha of the Old Testament, but many of those links won't open in that resource. Equally, you cannot use Parallel Resources to switch between POT and OTGPwM.
To reproduce:
- Run a search for links to the Martyrdom of Isaiah. <Pseudepigrapha ~ Martyrdom and Ascension of Isaiah>
- Open a resource that links to chapters 1, 2, 3 or 5. Right click on the link and see if you can open it in the Pseudepigrapha of the Old Testament. Much of the time you can't.
- A specific example (if you have this resource).
- Open the AYBC on 1 Peter to pg 913.
- Right-click on each of the links to Ascension of Isaiah.
- The following link will open in POT: 1:2-6.
- The following links will not: 1:3, 3:13, 3:13-4:2, 3:16-20
- This is illustrated in the screenshot below.

The Martyrdom and Ascension of Isaiah is fragmentary in in the Charles edition.:
"The Martyrdom of Isaiah—1:1–2 a, 6 b–13 a, 2:1–8, 10–3:12, 5:1 c–14—is fragmentary. "
Pseudepigrapha of the Old Testament. 2004 (R. H. Charles, Ed.) (154). Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc.So I think all the verses you tried were outside the available ranges.

Upon reviewing the Charlesworth edition on Amazon (I don't have it in Logos), it seems Charles thought that the missing portions were not original, which is why they were not included. You'll have to get the Charesworth edition if you want access to all the references.

Well spotted. That does explain all the references I quoted. Though it doesn't explain why parallel resources from references that are common to both resources don't work. For example Mart. Ascen. Isa. 3.1 appears in both resources but returns "No parallel resources".

For example Mart. Ascen. Isa. 3.1
appears in both resources but returns "No parallel resources".Try creating a collection just for Pseudepigrapha resources. It seems that the default "All Parallel Resources" menu might require that all the resources have the
same type. For example, I have a Philo collection and it showed both the English and Greek as parallel resources. But when I delete that collection, it shows "No parallel resources". (The English is a monograph and the Greek is Ancient Manuscript.) Also notice that the "All Parallel Resources" is not an option when the collection is recreated:

Brilliant! That's fixed it. Thanks. That's another reason why translated ancient manuscripts should also be categorised as ancient manuscripts, in my opinon.

Perhaps, although if the active resource is type monograph, it's not going to be constrained very much. [:)]

I'd say it's a bug with the way types are allocated.
