All Sermon Notes Beside Slides on Ipad

Is there a way to see all my sermon notes while controlling the slides on the remote app.  Right now I seem only to be able to see the notes leading up to the slide.  Is there a way to do this?  Is there any plan to make this the way it works instead?  I'm not comfortable with preaching from the remote app right now.

Not that I have seen discussed - and with Proclaim being slide-based I would be very surprised if this were done

I find it works very well for me - and enables me to keep track of where I am. What problems does it cause you?

One thought - fnd if you happen to have an iPad with split-screen capability you could run the remote app and the Logos app side-by-side - controlling Proclaim from the app and looking at your sermon notes i the Logos app. Would that work at all?

    My main issues with it

    1. If I advance a slide too early and need to jump back it brings me back all the way to the beginning of the last "set of notes" attached to the slide

    2. If I need to skip a slide but not all the notes in the section of the next note.

    3. I like to have a birds eye view of my notes to make change on the fly where necessary.

I would imagine it would work with the notes area just including all the sermon notes and not just the ones right before the slide.

So essentially you would still place the notes per service item, but we could load them all in the remote to give you some context? That would be pretty cool. So you could be on one slide, but scroll ahead and view the notes for the next item before actually advancing the slide.

If you do implement this please provide the option to keep the existing behaviour.

Maybe it's just something I've got used to but I find having notes tied to slides is helpful.

Thanks for the response Jordan.  Does this seem like a possibility?

Having slide notes ability is also handy for the guy in the booth running the presentation, something that I got used to with PowerPoint and have always missed with proclaim without having another piece of hardware to handle.

This isn't quite what you're asking about, but I:

    • Export my manuscript to Word,
    • Do a little formatting,
    • Export as a PDF,
    • Load the PDF into Notability, a great iPad app that allows me to annotate my manuscript with the Apple Pencil.

I take a few minutes and make sure that I have slides indicates in my notes, and I'm ready to preach.
