Favorites Opened Collapsed?

Is there a way to set up my favorites panel such that when it opens all the folders are collapsed?

No. You have to do it yourself before closing the panel.

I too am having trouble with my favorites panel opening "expanded." This occurs even after I've saved my layout with favorites collapsed. Is this not normal in IOS environment?
