Missing Video for QuickStart course

"Getting Read to Study Survey the Desktop" seems to be missing. I get the following screen...

All others I have tried seem to work ok.

    The QuickStart for Logos 8 resource was updated today. I just tried the updated resource, but can't watch that particular video, either.

    Hang in there, and we'll let you know when it's fixed!

    I'm sorry Bob and Petah. We're also in the dreaded "I can't reproduce this territory."

    Step 1: are you on a Mac or a PC

    Step 2: could you point me to your resource version. You should be able to find it on the "about" the resource screen.

    The other videos are fine, as Bob mentioned.

    We're also in the dreaded "I can't reproduce this territory."

    I've reported similar problems in the past.

    In my case the issue was that when I first attempted to play the video I got a server error. Logos then cached the server error and therefore never retried the download. I'm not sure my bug report was properly understood.

    This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

    I had a problem with the audio dropping out in one of the videos.  It may have been that one.  Maybe the pulled it temporarily until they could get it fixed.  It seems to be working now.

    I tried exiting Logos, deleting the WebCache folder, then restarting the program. Same error as before.

    The Logos.log doesn't seem to add anything helpful:

    It happens on both my iMac running Mojave and my Laptop running High Sierra.

    Thanks for the report. It looks like the issue is related to Macs and not PC. There are likely a couple of issues at play. The trouble is related to pulling the new file on the server. I'll be looking into this more.

    I note that the sound drops out when Mo gets to "Docs" and then it cranks back up when he gets to "Guides" after that the sound is fine.
