is it possible to program a mark button next to the recording mic peak notifier? Allowing a mark to be created on the post recording editing screen so one could mark a spot to edit out. Or even a simple recording timer to added to the screen so one could take a notation of where to go in the post recording to edit out mic troubles/noise/dead air sections?

We already support this! Just hit the ‘m’ key while recording and when you are in the publish window Later you will see orange ticks for each ‘m’ you pressed
