User Defined Templates for Songs et. al.

I remember one of the reasons we didn't use Proclaim in the early days was the lack of user defined templates for songs. I still can't find a way to change this. The default format has a tiny little box that's way too small for more than a couple of lines at the size we need in our settings. I want to enlarge the text box and move the song number box down. How do I do that in Proclaim? If that's not possible even still after all this time why in the world not??

Can you expand on this?
As below the text box I see takes up most of the screen

Thanks not at all what I see when I add a new song. I've highlighted the boxes in red to make it easer to see. How do I get what you see on your screen as the default?

Which is which? In particular, which box receives the song text?

I don't really know! That's what I've always seen.
I need to go out now but will check back later.

This is the size of the box I get when opening a new song slide.
If one clicks in the box one gets the handles that you can see which allow one resize/rotate the box as required.
Likewise clicking in the hymn number box allows the text to be formatted and the box to be repositioned and resized as needed.
Is this not the case for you?

In Proclaim, most media is Smart Media (templates) so that is why the position of the box is differing based on what media you are using. (Hence why Graham's is different than yours)
You can now create your own Smart Media Templates and set them as default for the various main item types. You can also choose any existing Smart Media Template and set it as default too.
This allows you to have a consistent size, font, etc for all your songs. (And have it look that way immediately upon adding). I have a simple black background with the font how I like set as default, then I add a motion or still background using the 'Apply as Background' button.
