Deep-shadow'ers.
My impression is the forums are now largely sale items and software, no matter the forum. But happy you spoke up. Good question.

DISCUSSIONS ON THIS FORUM HAVE DROPPED . WHY?
Let me count the ways:
How many L 8 SDA libraries were sold so far?
And while we are asking that how many L 8 Orthodox Libraries were sold so far? [compared to others]
Also to the best of my knowledge there is no team leader for Orthodox nor Adventist on the Logos staff.
Thus there is no push for new resources for neither Orthodox nor Adventist.
One other problem, in some circles, is that to get a resource into logos it MUST pass community pricing or pre-pub. [that is enough of that groups current members must agree to buy it or it does not get published].
So if you have a group such as the Orthodox or Adventist ones, with few members, new MUST HAVE resources to get new members for that group just don't get published.
No new interesting resources for the group equals no new interest in the group. [[Welcome to the forums]]

Any particular reason why Logos Staff has no team leader for SDA

Amos, as far as I remember, Martin Weber left voluntarily. He was already retired when he took the position at Logos earlier, and he throw all his energy and wide network in Adventism to get great Adventist resources into Logos and get pastors around the world to purchase it. Now he wanted to spend more time on local church work and stepped down.
Why Logos afterwards has decided not to get a new SDA product manager I don't know. The Adventist community is clearly not a great priority at the moment.
- There are NO new SDA products in the new Logos 8 SDA packages
- Many of the great SDA products in Logos 7 SDA are actually pulled from the Logos 8 packages - no books anymore from Andrews University Press, the flagship Adventist academic publisher
On the positive side, the Theological Seminary at Andrews University decided last year to recommend/require Logos for all students, and got a good academic bundle deal for their students. So long term Logos is likely to become more and more used among Adventists, but short-term the "golden age" of Martin Weber is gone, and things are put on pause.

The closest we have in a “team leader” is Hiram Rester. He is in charge of the academic sales - also what Martin Weber did, and was likely the key person to get Andrews Univ. to finally okay logos sales. But logos did not hire Hiram to primote More books into the logos product. Unfortunately it’s likely a small enough market.....

Union College was the first Adventist institution to require Logos. We began back in 2014 before Martin started with Logos. Southern and Oakwood I hear are close to adopting Logos and Southwestern may soon take that step as well. I think as more Adventists get involved using the platform, we will get more resources. I believe the more activity we have here on the forum will help as well.
I know that they did not talk with anyone in the Adventist community before releasing L8 but I believe Hiram has spoken with them about trying to help in this area. I talked with Ron Knott, AU Press director, at SBL and he indicated that they intend to keep all of their titles on Logos. I will ask Hiram if he can find out why AU Press titles are not apart of any SDA Package.

I’m not SDA, but is this true?-
Ellen White is a false prophet, the mark of the beast will be Sunday worship, satan bears our sins, Jesus did not forgive sins till 1844, and they do not hold to the five solas and justification by faith alone.

Michael S. Your post strikes me as incompatible with the forum guidelines and anti-SDA to its core. I will report it to Faithlife.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Michael,
Thanks for the comment. I don't think the forums here at Faithlife were designed to get into theological discussions. There are plenty of other places online to do such things. However, I'm happy to have a discussion on the topics you have posted about if you like. You can reach me at thomas.toews@ucollege.edu.
Thanks and have a great day!
Tom

Michael, Welcome to this section of the forum. Find a SDA church and ask to talk to a Bible worker.
Let them know exactly what you asked here and ask for their 2 minute answers.
[In two minutes they just state that they do or do not believe something but do not try to convince you. At least that is what I would do if I was the one that you asked.]
