Proclaim minimizes "On Air" screens randomly

Hello all,

I work at a church in San Diego, CA and we use Proclaim version 2.10 for our services. On Sunday, while in the middle of one of our Christmas concerts that kick off the advent season, the screens that were showing the Proclaim slides randomly minimized and began to show what was on the computer screen. This happened while Proclaim was set to “On Air” and no one had touched anything. It happened again later that same night, even after shutting down and restarting the computer. What could be causing this to happen?

The computer is fairly new - it’s a 2017 Mac desktop running High Sierra OSX.

Hello Alex,

Sorry for the trouble here!  It sounds like perhaps the computer momentarily lost connection with the screen.  When this happens, Proclaim doesn't resend a new signal for the slides and so it would only reflect your background.  What's your screen setup like and it's connection with the Mac?

Also, just to be sure this isn't an error stemming from Proclaim, could you send me log files from Proclaim?  You can save these by going to Help > Save Log Files and emailing them to support@faithlife.com.  It's always safer to glance over them just to be sure.
