As in prior years, I'm sharing the global daily lectionary "Die Losungen" (Daily Texts, Moravian Daily Watchwords) for the upcoming year. This lectionary consists of a daily OT verse - randomly drawn from a pool of texts in German language - and accompanying NT verse that may help to illustrate. The Daily Texts are printed in some 50 languages and used globally - now you can utilize those in Logos as well.

Here is the file: 6787.Die Losungen 2019.docx

The file needs to be compiled as type:lectionary and language:German, but it will work with your favorite bible or any other you select due to dynamic text fields - in the screenshot below I selected the LEB. If you already use the 2018 version, just add the file and recompile the PB.

As a change to prior year, since we lost so much of the homepage functionality and I was missing it in the past, I have added the yearly, monthly and weekly / special day texts as well - the latter are often used in the liturgy as a so called "Votum" in German language services (even in non-liturgical churches).

The text selection copyright is owned by the Evangelische Brüder-Unität - Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine, the text source and further information is available at http://www.losungen.de - the German Luther bible text is copyright by the German Bible Society, sometimes other translations such as Zürcher, Gute Nachricht, Einheitsübersetzung are used. The yearly and monthly texts have been selected by the ecumenic committee for bible reading, http://oeab.de , the weekly texts originated in the protestant community "Michaelsbruderschaft" in the 1920s.

Enjoy and have a blessed 2019!

Have joy in the Lord! Smile

    Thankyou.
