What are the best German theological journals / magazines?, are they available in L8?
Hello power users:
Some persons think that a good way to learn to read German is to get acquainted with Journals / Magazines in the target language.
I wonder what the best Theological / Biblical studies journals / magazines are. Are they available in L8? or online by subscription?
If you know of some please share.

"Zeitschrift für die alttestamentliche Wissenschaft" and "Zeitschrift für die neutestamentliche Wissenschaft" are key publications. FWIW, "Zeitschrift für die neutestamentliche Wissenschaft und die Kunde des Urchristentums" is dying a slow death in CP. Otherwise, I wouldn't expect to see them in Logos, but I'd love to have my suspicions disconfirmed.

German Evangelicals all seem to read English and sing English praise songs, so you might not find a quality popular level theological magazine in German with that kind of circulation. They even read Christianity Today.
Nevertheless, here is a Liste deutschsprachiger christlicher Zeitschriften und Zeitungen (list of German-language Christian magazines and newspapers) on German Wikipedia:

The ones that are in blue in the left column have Wikipedia pages of their own, so they are probably the best known ones. If you click on any of those links, you can check if the page for that publication has a link to its official website (which will look something like this: Offizielle Website der Theologischen Beiträge) and follow that to see if you can find any free content there.
I would also suggest you ask this same question on the Deutsch Logos form, since there are German speakers there who might know off the top of their heads what magazines/journals to recommend.

Not sure if possible, but would be interesting to have Biblical Hebrew, Koine Greek, Theological Latin, Theological German, English, French, Portuguese and Spanish into a conceptual categorization scheme.
Maybe even following some glossary like:

That would allow to leverage L9 even more, so that one could see subjects from different Language perspectives. It has been suggested that concepts can be conveyed in different languages even if the structure, words, nuances, cannot be exactly replicated, wonder If there has been a study about such.
Many times particular subjects are treated under particular angles, as if filtered by particular context or even worldview in a particular language.
