Lectionary Calendar Widget Request

In V7 when you had the Lectionary tehre was a calendar widget that let me click the day. I for one would like it back.I attached a shot of the v8 date field. I have to type in a date and it is not as convenient to me as the date widget.

Great to see, but is there an option to click on the days readings and it only open the Lectionary Resource rather than the monster layout which takes ages to load?

Never mind, I did manage to answer my own question. The Lectionary layout can be adjusted from within the Layouts button in the top right corner.
