L4B3 Lectionary on the Homepage
I've noticed a change in the home page since L4B3 arrived. I do not find the (a) Lectionary listed, nor do I find an option to include one.
My preference would be to ditch the reading plan and give me my lectionary (keyed to the bring up the next Sunday) as we've had since we got the lectionary on the home page in L3
But, for those who like the reading plan, give them the option. Alas, with the current home page, there seems to be no way of adding the lectionary, and no way of removing the reading plan. I'll buy into using the homepage to set the preferred Bible, because that feature previously found on the menu structure has gone away.
At the same time, and while I'm talking about the home page -- I've clicked "customize" in the lower left corner. I unchecked everything which I anticpated would clean the slate for me and it's still filled up up with "stuff." We need another option block where we can (IMHO) finish unchecking things to clear out the home page (my two cents)

I've noticed a change in the home page since L4B3 arrived. I do not find the (a) Lectionary listed, nor do I find an option to include one. Also I have noticed , in previous betas an opton to add additonal reading plans to the home page ribbon. This now seems to be missing in b3 also. It can still be done from FILE->NEW->READING PLAN though...which I don't mind though I don't know if it is intentional as I can't see the removal of these items mentioned in the release notes.
I also do not have the lectionary as an option on the Home Page Ribbon with b3.

This should be optional. I like reading plans. I occassionaly might look at a lectionary for personal interest and probably would turn it off on the home page but like readig plans, particulary as we can use them for any sort of resource in L4. Bible software should be flexible enought to cater to a variety of user needs.

What you are left wiith is there newspaper extracts. Its kind of like the book of the day on the L3 home page....its just on steroids... you get a whole lot more and IMHO its poorly organsized and visually unappealing its layout. Its something new and something they seem to want to force on everyone that opens the home page..
The one thing that probably troubles me the most wtih Logos above everything else is they tend to want to hold our hand way too much. I think we are all capable of deciding whether we want a readng plan, lectionary or both on our home page ribbon and whether or not we want a newspaper on the homepage, this content of this should even be customizable... in the day of RSS it seems a little backward that you can't choose what sort of material you want it to display.
