What are the copyright rules?

I have a PB that I compiled from a paper an older pastor gave at a fellowship. I have linked to works he references and credited him as the author. 

Can I upload it?

    I’m not a copyright lawyer, but I would think you should be able to upload without issue

    I believe you would need express (read: written) permission to do so.  As the author he holds copyright and it cannot be reproduced without his permission. If he is deceased, permission would either need to come from his heirs or wait until something like 75 years after his death.
