Yesterday, we had a significant delay when projecting the worship slides through the digital signage.
We have a TV in the narthex that is connected to a Fire TV stick. During the week, that TV displays the digital signage feed in an endless loop as we have 12 different community groups using the facility each week and find it is an easy way to post our programs for them to see. On Sundays, the digital signage feed picks up the service when it is On-Air.
On each slide change yesterday, there was a 2-3 second delay from the slide change from the main projector to the slide change on the TV. The TV screen would go black for each slide change, and then slowly reveal the slide.
We do have the additional information enabled as a border around the slides on the TV (i.e. our logo as a graphic, the date, time, weather, and a brief message of welcome).
This may be normal, and I may not have noticed it before, but is there a way to lessen the delay between the two instances of the slides appearing?
