Hi power users:

By any chance does anybody know how the Catholic topical index was produced? was it done using Personal book tool?

I would love to be able to do something similar for myself and touching on other topics and linking to other monographs etc.

Any ideas, suggestions, tips?

Thanks ahead of time for any guidance you can provide.

The Catholic Topical Index is a regular resource in your library along with a documented dataset

    • Jones, Andrew, Robert Klesko, Louis St. Hilaire, and Jason Stellman, eds. Catholic Topical Index. Bellingham, WA: Verbum, 2013.
    • Husser, Lydia. Catholic Topical Index: Dataset Documentation. Bellingham, WA: Faithlife, 2017.

I doubt very much that it was done in as manual a manner as the Personnel book implies - I suspect a bit of programming, manual editting, and the standard production process that Kyle heads is more likely.  However, a Personnel book would be the best way to build similar resources.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

    Ok thanks MJ.

To me the CTI is a masterpiece.

I like it to, Hamilton! It's probably my favorite feature in Verbum.
