As more of faithlife connect has been added to the base packages and we no longer get a free faithlife original... it does feel like the cost to benefit ratio is rather depleted! I'm trying to figure out why to keep going with it?

True, but many of those books were added to our libraries as "temporary" books we have while subscribing.

I would not pay for the feature sets AND have a FC membership. I am happy with the FC route personally.
