Reproducible Crash when pasting into Note (8.4 RC1)
I was trying to see whether Notes would handle Hebrew and Arabic (mixed) text. I selected the text in the screenshot which is a PDF located here.
The pasted result is the following screenshot, but Logos repeatedly crashes almost immediately and the note is empty when reopening Logos (I got the screenshot via a timer).
FWIW, the same funky renderings happen when pasting into Apple Notes.

Replicated your crash on Windows. The text (which is from the top of page 5 of the PDF you linked ) also looks weird when pasted in Word 2016.
Pasting into a Logos note first looked good
but then crashed the application. Crash text file looks like this: 2047.LogosCrash.txt

Just to note that this crash has been resolved (I think it may have been for a little while, now).
