I want to add some words in Twi to my presentation.
eg a slide that reads 'Welcome' and 'Yɛma wo akwaaba'
However I am stuck.
Any ideas?

It appears that the font doesn't support that particular character. Have you loaded any font into Proclaim in order to display Twi characters?

No Brian, but by working my way down the font list I eventually got to one that did work.
I appears that many of the Fonts supplied with Proclaim have quite limited character sets and I think it would be useful if those with extended character sets could be indicated in some way in the list.
