Trouble Syncing Between iPad and Mac

Hi there,

I figured I would submit this out there and see if anyone has ever encountered this before. I'll try to explain this clearly.

I'm having issues syncing notes, highlights, and emphasis markups between my iPad and Mac. What is strange is anything I do on my Mac (notes, comments, highlights) IMMEDIATELY shows up on my iPad. However, when I make those same types of documents, notes, highlights on my iPad, I can't get them to show up on my Mac. It's like the syncing is only happening in one direction.

What's even more strange is that I've narrowed it down to the problem just seems to be with the "notes" subheading when I click on "document." Meaning, the "clippings" I make on my iPad are transferring to my Mac instantly. There seems to be something going on with items that fall under the "notes" category on my iPad just will not show up on Mac.

Hopefully that was sort of clear and not confusing. Appreciate any help or thoughts people might have encountered trying to sync devices. Thanks!

Hi Matt - and welcome to the forums

Please advise which versions of the app you are running on your iPad and which version of Logos you are running on your Mac?

It sounds as though one explanation of what you are seeing is a version mismatch

    Graham

PS: For future reference these types of issues are best reported in either the mobile app forum or the Logos 8 forum

    Thanks for the reply, Graham.

My iPad and iPhone are running Logos 8.2.2

And my Mac is running Logos 7.19.0.009

Is there a way to upgrade my Logos to 8 at just a base-level software update? Or does it have to be purchased? There's no free options on basic software updates?

Yes, you can update to the base-level software for free. See here: https://www.logos.com/product/168880/logos-8-basic

Upgrading to Logos 8 should fix your problem.
