This has been fixed in 8.5 Beta 5. NB.Mick if you could let us know if this fixed it for you it would be appreciated.

Just an update: Phil replied to the original thread and put a case into the tracker to have this bug fixed in a later release over summer.

It is fixed for me, I couldn't replicate getting Logos to display the wrong number after updating to Beta 5. Thanks!
