I have a nice new MicroSD card in my Android tablet. If possible, I would like to opt to save downloaded books on the card instead of the main memory. Is there an option to do this?
I have managed it on EMUI 9 (Huawei Android 9) by going into developer options and at the bottom, choosing 'Force allow apps on external storage', and then going into Storage and changing the 'Default location' to memory card, and then installing Logos.
This basicallly seems to install everything the the memory card though. Also the memory card is probably going to die very quick, so I think I will change it back.
If it works on Standard Android 9 or earlier I do not know. Good luck!
This is not officially supported, but Kevin’s solution may work. It is not recommended.
I agree, I think it hammers the SD cards and they die quick. Also, even though only 20GB for logos, SD card reporting 100GB+ used.
I would not really recommend this either.

I agree - these books do not generally require a lot of space, especially since I have no intention of downloading more than about a dozen books.
For now I'll stick with main memory - thanks!
