Do I or don't I own this package? The site seems uncertain ... I suspect I'm missing a bit ...
It's presently confusing, as you noticed, but a fix is coming.
FL will be clarifying the terminology (as "partially owned" doesn't signify whether or not there are new-to-you resources), in addition to hiding partially owned collections which don't include any new-to-you resources.
I seem to be experiencing something similar but I'm not sure its the same. Logged on I'm seeing a dynamic price for Verbum 8 Clergy Starter of $17.60. I check the box to hide resources I own, but I am seeing items on the list that I have in Verbum, i.e the workflows. Here is the website page and then what I see in Verbum. Am I missing something?
Steve, what type of license do you have for the workflows?
If it is a temporary license (from something like Verbum Now), those items aren't considered "owned."
The website has always let us buy something that we rent. Hoping that changes to come will include indication of temporary licenses, to alert us from inadvertently buying something we already have access to.
Yes, I am a Verbum Now subscriber. I understand what you are saying. As you say, the behavior is a little confusing.
Is that true for Datasets as well?
I don't have a Verbum Now subscription so I can't easily tell. You should be able to check that by hiding resources on the Verbum 8 Full Feature Upgrade page.
For the sake of complete and total clarity: everything you have only a temporary license for, no matter what it may be, is always and everywhere without any exceptions whatsoever considered not-owned by all FL store websites, and it has been this way as long as temporary licenses have existed.

It looks like some I own and others I don't. I'm guessing that some resources may have been part of previous base packages prior to the "Now" subscriptions offerings.
I kind of added this to the original post because of the title and also because I have experienced different pages' display of same resources, one which show I own, another shows I don't. This is true of the Featured Catholic Resource page (don't own) at this time and the regular product catalog (own) I identify in another thread.
I mention all this because it's getting a little tedious to look through everything when trying to evaluate a purchase decision. I'm a little cautious on what the website is presenting to me.

The Featured Catholic Resource page simply doesn't distinguish whether you own something or not, but the shopping cart does if you add something you do own.
