8.6 B1 Cntrl+C not working on Mac

After using the selection menu to copy, control+C will no longer work. Selecting Copy from the selection menu will, but control+C will not.

Cmd-c does work, however.

Upon investigation, I believe you are correct. Will check it out more thoroughly later, as it is almost time for Church here.

I've noticed this BUG also. You have to click outside the selection menu to deactivate the menu, then hit command-c. Which means it's quicker, in most cases, to just click "copy" on the selection menu!

Try Cmd-C before releasing the mouse click, this works in Windows.

That also works for Mac, but requires some dexterity, as I have the mouse in my left hand and want to type with the left hand also. Right hand mousing or typing is for the less gifted humans [;)]

We have a case open for keyboard shortcuts to dismiss the selection menu and execute the action. I'll add this thread to the case.
