Where are my resources???????
I open my library, search for and find Oxford Bible Commentary - click on it. Resource Missing!
I search for Harper's and click on Harper's Bible Commentary. Resource Missing!
I click on Harper's Bible Dictionary. Resource Missing!
They appear in my library. They are in the resource folder of my C: drive. I've opened each of these three resources numerous times.
Where are they?????

What's strange James is that I have both BDAG and Max & Mary (GAGNT).
I have none of the commentaries which in another post I said could not be serialised and I'm missing all bar 6 of the WBC's. This makes me think that they are being reworked. Similarly, the lack of my bible dictionaries (each of which has problems with multiple milestones) makes me think that these are being recompiled. It's possibly a good time to do it in the US - a shocking time in Australia. I could be wrong about what's happening. But, if I'm not, some advance notice would have been good (much like internet services warn people of impending down-times).

I looked and the files are in my L4 resource directory. They just aren't showing up in my library or being indexed.
Makes me think it is a licensing/syncing issue.

I seem to have all of the resources that I've had in V3 and that have shown up in V4 up until now...of course I don't sync with anything.

Is it possible that the files in the "Logos4\Data\...\Resources" folder were overwritten, e.g., by copying new versions in from your LDLS3 "Resources" folder?

I doubt it (it's happened on both of my computers). I don't know. How would I find out.
But, it all seems connected to the fact that something downloaded several hours ago (on my notebook - I don't think my netbook downloaded anything) and it's all indexing again on both computers.
As far as I can tell, I've done nothing.
Now that the computer is reindexing, the library has been over-written and they no longer appear there. As other threads show, I'm not the only one who has just experienced this.

Bradley,
I did manage to save the Logos4.log that began all this.
Note all the resources that it cannot find (800 of them). I do not know if it makes a difference that the time stamps on all of them are different to the time on the resources in my computer????
eg.: ResourceManager Resource of type logos could not be found at location C:\Documents and Settings\Damian\Local Settings\Application Data\Logos4\Data\y2u4c0uv.akr\ResourceManager\Resources\njb.lbxlls with ID LLS:1.0.90 and version 2006-05-26T15:17:10Z.
The njb file on my computer has a date modified of Saturday, 27 May 2006, 1:17:10 AM.
Is this another problem with living in Australia?
I use Chrome: I hope you can access the file below. Otherwise I will email you.

All of my resource files are in the "Logos4\Datat\....\Resource" directory. They are not being indexed or showing up in the library. So I don't think it is a a "moving and overwritting" issue. I lost the resources on my desktop as well without even downloading and installing my 2 new resources on the desktop in LDLS 3.
It seems to be a syncing problem. As my destop L4 synced on line and immediately started "preparing and indexing my library." It saw the license change in my Online Logos Account and off it went... and when she was done... I lost my resources [:(]
Hope this helps,
Jim
PS... this raises the question of can Logos remove a license from my online account and i lose my resource after a syncing? I have the file... but i can't use the resource...

Are they still missing after the computer finishes reindexing?

I'm missing 2/3 of my resources. It looks like indexing is done. I've
lost my Word Biblical Commentary Series, my Greek bibles . .
.unfortunately, it is missing most of the books that I use on a daily
basis. I'm not sure what to do to kick-start indexing again so all my resources are included. any hints?0 -

I just finished downloading and installing an update. On opening I find that my NA27 with Logos morphology is missing as well as BHS 4.2 with Westminster morphology, AFAT, HALOT, and who knows what else. I downloaded and unlocked The Masorah of Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia last night and it appears in my 3.0 library, but I was unable to get it to appear in 4.0 prior to the update -- after the update it still does not appear. A strange occurance is that I now have the LXX with Logos morphology as well as Gramcord though I never purchased the LXX with Logos morphology. The original texts and lexica are my primary resources so this is very much a problem.

I left my desktop indexing overnight. I now have 3001 resources. Last night before the update I had 4635. I think this must be a problem with the latest update. Too many having a similar issue.
Longtime Logos user (more than $30,000 in purchases) - now a second class user because I won't pay them more every month or year.

Like George, I also downloaded the Masorah. I wonder if it's related to that?

It is a server problem on Logos end... not a resource or indexing issue... see http://community.logos.com/forums/t/1845.aspx
Now if only i could get the server to make the mistake and give me a few more resources instead of taking them away

I guess it's good I didn't download The Masorah! I didn't want it to re-index everything but perhaps it also saved me from losing everything you are reporting.

Not seeing a post regarding a fix. Has anyone found a way to restore the missing resources?

LOL... I am glad that God shows more mercy than the cloud [:D]
And He will never revoke my license either... it is written in blood not in the clouds... can I get an amen?
