BUG: Bookstore search

Logos 8.6 Mac OS 10.14.6

Conducted a Basic Search for Greear. Bookstore results included Why the Spirit inside you… without a link, Click on the highlighted name in the search results, which opened a preview window:

Note that there is no Learn More link. Clicking Add to Cart leads to a notice that my shopping cart is empty on the Logos website. This error is caused by the resource being an ebook. If search results are to include ebooks, then the link should access the cart on the ebook.logos site. Present action can only confuse users and result in lost sales.

Note that there is no Learn More link.

The thumbnail is a Learn More link, but that too goes to classic.logos.com and can't find the product.

This error is caused by the resource being an ebook. If search results are to include ebooks, then the link should access the cart on the ebook.logos site.

This is correct, and I earlier noted it as a known issue on another thread:

There is a known issue that ebook editions do not properly "add to cart" or link to the appropriate storefront.

Partially for this reason, Logos editions are ranked higher. It also matches and ranks your UI language.

So, if I'm in English, the results I see would be returned in this order:

English Logos editions

English ebook editions

Non-English Logos editions

Non-English ebook editions

I've added this as a known issue to the 8.6 stable release notes.

I don't think the thumbnail was a link for me, but since I purchased the resource, I cannot verify my memory.
