While I have a number of incomplete workflows that are not supported by the current structure, I have three in progress that work but two would be improved by enhancements to the workflow structure and would be a move towards some Verbum specific workflows.

  1. A workflow for reading scripture with an early church commentary ... I think this works with no changes
  2. A workflow for praying with the Church by creating one's one intentions for the mandatory topics of the Prayers of the Faithful. Currently it works off a single scripture. If one could (a) enter a date and (b) invoke the lectionary for that date, this would be greatly improved. Yes, I can get there via invoking the liturgy section but that is VERY round-about.
  3. A workflow for a philology-based word study. It simply needs to (a) allow any word to be entered without requiring that it be Biblical. I'm thinking primarily of the vocabulary of the early church fathers and early translations especially when not pre-parsed.

I still want the ability to have a workflow designed for multiple passages but am trying to not pound my head against a brick wall. Sometimes, it's smarter to turn a bit and see what one can do successfully.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
