Display songs only on Confidence monitor

Hello all,

I was wondering if it is possible to display the words to a song only on the confidence monitor.

There are occasions where we would do specials for only the musicians to play/sing. The only workaround we could find is to make the text match the background, and use Windows 10's peek feature to monitor the confidence output.

Thanks

    Hello Brian,

You can work around it by either blending in the text with the background, or even setting the font size to 1 and just dragging the containing text box slightly out of slide range.

But we do now have a slide output option for Background only.  So while you are live, you can go to Settings > Display, and switch the corresponding screen to Slides - Background only and the text will not render.  Whatever work flow is easiest for you!

    Hi Brian

As one who suffers, not deafness so much as a growing inability to differentiate words that are being sung without a visual clue as to what I might be hearing, may I urge restraint in not displaying spoken or sung words at every opportunity.

Proclaim can transform contributions by making visually available the words that we should hear and so help us actually hear them.

I find that using Proclaim for this purpose has transformed the effectiveness of children's contributions to worship.

Well said Mike, I had often wondered why I can hear better when Closed Captioning is enabled on my TV, especially during shows where the actors have heavy accents.
