iPad app crashes when selecting homepage if not connected to a network

With 8.6.0 of the app, selecting the homepage causes the app to crash if there is no Internet connection. The homepage is displayed briefly - just showing the various enabled “section headings’ but no content and then the app crashes.

I spotted this earlier while travelling on a train when I had wifi enabled on my iPad but it wasn’t actually connected to a wifi network

And I have just reproduced it at home by simply disabling wifi in the ios settings

This doesn’t happen in the Verbum app (running the latest stable release)
