8.0049 hanging and jump to reference issue

1 when swiping between resources and sometimes when swiping within a resource logos hangs, sometimes for a minute or more before moving to the next resource or next page. Occasionally it just crashes. It acts like it is searching, but it doesn’t give any visual queues for that.

2 In a previous version, when a cross reference was selected, the pop-up would show the entire text of the reference. Now it is back to making me “jump to references”
I wish it would not only show the whole text, but that we could scroll in the pop-up before and after the reference to get a better grasp of its context. Is this possible?

i’m on iPad 2, running the newest iOS, thank you in advance for any help with these issues.

    Thank you Graham for the quick response

    Two corrections:

    8.6.0049 Beta is my version 

    It does show on shorter verse ranges as you show, but not all long references show all. some references from commentaries and other reference works may have a link for several verses or the whole chapter not that I should expect a whole chapter(I'll have to look for and post those, just can't at the moment). The point is it just seems there is a limited range it works on now and It would be so much simpler for the user if it was just scrollable. The other company, OT app does this without issue.

    Off topic, how do you get a screen shot on the iPad?

    Sorry i have the 8.6.. version as well

    Trying a longer reference, i get the same results in the beta app as in the stable one - but you may be thinking of an earlier version still)

    To take a screenshot, press the home button and on/off button at the same time
