BUG: Format Bar in Notes Covers Content

My formatting bar in my notes on my smallscreen (Eee 10" netbook) covers the content of my note. I'm not able to move it around to get it out of my way. Either a default positioning that took this into account or an ability to move the bar would fix the annoyance.
