The Didache Bible: With Commentaries Based on the Catechism of the Catholic Church which fits in with the Didache teaching materials and provides a solid introduction to reading the Bible theologically independent of the Didache series.
New Catholic Answer Bible: New American Bible Revised Edition which fits with the Dave Armstrong materials and provides a solid introduction to using the Bible in apologetics.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
