Does anyone know if there's a book(s) about how the Book of Revelation has been interpreted over the last centuries?
mm.
Check out the Revelation volume listed here: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/79779.aspx
thanks, but some of those commentaries I'd need to take out a second mortgage to purchase.
Hoping for something in Logos though.
The series I would have recommended hasn't released Revelation yet.
This might be of some help:
Appendix D. History of Interpretation of the Book of Revelation (by J. Paul Tanner)
Hi MM - You might be interested in the following as it covers various interpretative approaches used at different times and suggests another approach too:
Desrosiers, Gilbert. An Introduction to Revelation. T&T Clark Approaches to Biblical Studies. London; New York: Continuum, 2000.

Keep well. Paul
If some of these series don't hurry up and publish then their volume on Revelation will be history instead of prophecy.

Thanks, Rosie. Very helpful indeed.
Hey Paul. I actually chatted online last night with a sales rep and she suggested that very book. So I picked it up. So far so good. He seems to have quite the humour, the author.
thanks.

Thanks Rosie, that does indeed look helpful. I'm right in the middle of making my milk orders, so I have something to look forward to in a bit.
