To immediately update to the current beta enter the Update Now command. Otherwise, the app will automatically update the next time it's scheduled to check for updates.

Cmd+Shift+[ and Cmd+Shift+] now cycles through all tabs open in a panel.

Sounds like a typo to me.
On Mac, those keyboard shortcuts can be used to switch between panel tabs in a pane in the order that they are listed, rather than in the order they were last accessed.
This matches the existing behavior on Windows when you use Ctrl+Page Up and Ctrl+Page Down
