Ah I see, if you add a default item straight from a file you get stuck in this bad state. Instead you have to add it to Proclaim first and then select it from the media browser. Thanks for the report! We will get this fixed.

Hey Mike, the newest update, 2.12, should have this fixed. Now when you import something from your computer, we actually upload it! Once the upload is done, all should work as expected.
