B3-Home Page Confusion

How can I tell what is what on the home page? How do I know what is a Pre-pub offer from a blog post?
I thought it could be by headline size, but based on the home page layout below, that can't be the case since two articles on Discourse Analysis use different heading sizes. How can I quickly glance at the home page and know what is what? In a "newspaper" is done by section, but there seems no rhyme or reason on the Logos newspaper.

Thank goodness that I turned off that feature! I read the blogs as soon as they come out, so I don't need them on my home page.

The homepage needs a bit more thought - and lots more white space.
