POINT 1

I have discovered that the tagging in resources such as Stevenson, James, and B. J. Kidd, eds. Creeds, Councils, and Controversies: Documents Illustrative of the History of the Church A.D. 337-461. New York: Seabury Press, 1966. and Johnson, Lawrence J. Worship in the Early Church: An Anthology of Historical Sources. Vol. 2. Collegeville, MN: Liturgical Press, 2009.:

  • anthologies sometimes lack tagging on the excerpts
  • when anthologies have their own reference system (Jurgens, Johnson), their internal reference system is not reflected in an index
  • as far as I can see, those two facts result in there being no standard datatypes for the early council documents.

Please either prove me wrong or rectify the situation.
