Image Slideshow; changing background for the whole cue.

I am very new to Proclaim. I have imported 32 pictures for an image slideshow. The pictures do not fill each page of the slide and I see the checkered "vector" style background.  I can click on each individual picture and choose a background. How do I copy this for all of the other pictures?  I plan to add more pictures and am hoping I will not have to manually edit each background.

While in the Image Slideshow I do not have the normal "background' feature and toolbar like I do when in an announcement.

Any help will be appreciated!

Julie

I believe ImageSlideshow does not have multi select still...

However, if you don’t need the random shuffle or repeat feature of imageSlideShow you can drag images straight to the order of service on the left. It will add it to a nice grouping for your which can be easily collapsed.

You can then click the grouping to multiselect all the images and apply your fit to all of them in one click from the background menu.

These were all randomly sized images I sized to fit the width

When you say "drag images straight to the order of service on the left", do you mean drag from the desktop or folder into the left side of proclaim? I am using a different pc that does not have the images on the desktop. My presentation was uploaded from the office and I am working from home.  I have been trying to drag the images from the current image slideshow to the left side and nothing happens or rather I see a yellow line appear above the Pre-Service loop area, almost as if the picture is being dropped into another area that I can not find. I can not drag from the "image slideshow" to the pre-service, warm-up, Service or post service loop areas. This is what I had hoped to do.

Can I add a text box on top of one slide in the image slideshow?

Can I change the time for one slide to be longer then another? For example: I have 68 pictures in this image slideshow and I'd like to hang out on one slide for about 15 - 18 sec but eave the rest at 10 sec. Is this possible?

Is there a tutorial for the image slideshow area? I can't find anything to help explain the options of the image slideshow.

    Thank you, Julie

Yes, on initial import you can drag them straight there.

Ah, you won’t be able to do that. You would need to open your GroupUploads in the Media browser and then re-add them as content item. You can command or control control click on multiple items and add them all at once as content items.

All of these options would be available if you had them as a grouping of content items like described above. ImageSlide shows dont allow for text to be added or times to be changed individually. But if the items were added as content items you could just click on an individual and change it however you want.
