No, it hasn't even appeared in pre-pub. There is no reason to believe that Faithlife has an agreement with the publisher for any of the volumes.

I posted the following comment in another thread.:

The strength and weakness of FL is the Community pricing and Pre-pub. The strength is that they stay in business. The weakness is that they do not grow smaller groups.  Few of the non "our group" want "our" books. So whatever "our" we are in we do not grow.

FL most likely will not tell us but it would be interesting knowing how many of each Silver level (or above) sells during this introductory period.  And then how many of each sell over the next year.

Question how does "our group" convince FL that a list of "must haves" for "our group" would be a fair investment for FL to get "our group" growing?

Personally I think the only way orthodox are going to get attention is by attaching ourselves with the eastern rite of the Catholic Church . Then we would have the Verbum team behind us.

The Verbum 9 Eastern Rite packages are basically a blend of standard Verbum and Orthodox resources with a very solid heaping of the Early Church Fathers. In a certain sense, I think the Verbum team and the Logos Orthodox offerings are already working together. [:)]

Minor correction: that's rites plural ... about 27 IIRC. As many of the presses either formally or informal try to serve both markets, I think a symbiotic relationship between Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, and Eastern Rites will happen naturally whether intentionally or organically. But part of the problem is that the publishers are a large number of very small presses with little experience with electronic publishers. St. Vladimir's Seminary was a trail blazer. We need to find ways to get both the publisher and Verbum to meet partway with both expressing interest before a formal overture is given.

We also need to put a bit of effort -- user initiative -- to get lectionaries, liturgy of the hours, and saints supported as incentive for bother members of the churches involved and the publishers have an interest. I hope the Coptic lectionary question that I just answered leads to some progress.  We could leverage it into support for the Treasures of the Fathers series linked to the lectionary.

👍 It would be great to see a rise in coptic works with fl. Has Verbum brought us any source works from the Coptic church?

There may be one or two ... but I first pushed for resources that are out of copyright ... no luck; so then I pushed for a relationship with contemporary publishers.

What boggles my mind is if I see digital works on Amazon why would I not also see them from fl? Obviously, the publisher is not holding back because of digitalization.

Target market, processing costs, doesn't know Faithlife exists...
