Zondervan Handbook of Biblical Archaeology: A Book by Book Guide to Archaeological Discoveries Related to the Bible
mm.
Hi milkman. I thought I would go ahead and purchase the Handbook. Sure glad I did.
Let me tel you why. First of all the rationale for doing archelogy to support biblical claims is fair, honest and takes into consideration both minimalist and maximalist arguments.
It lays out a brief yet detailed history of biblical archeology. It sets forth the limitations of archaeology and the value of it.
If you're a teacher or preacher it even gives you a methodology for using archeology in/for biblical teaching.
Well that's about how far I've read today - 25 pages.
Happy digging into the book. [:D]
Hi milkman.
I think they have a name for it when you talk to yourself and give yourself advice. [:D]

yes, it’s called taking the advice of a really smart person.
Haha. Or just bored on a day off and thought I'd throw in some humour.
Well not too sure about that, but I'll take it. Unless of course you do the same which explains your awesome reply [;)]
