Powerpoint transitions lost

Sorry if this has been dealt with before but I'm new to proclaim and wondering how to keep transitions when importing a PPT? I get the slides in their entirety. ideally I want to move my pastor onto creating presentation in proclaim, but until then does he need to produce separate slides for each transition?

    How are you getting the PowerPoint slides into Proclaim? If you are using the import feature, then you will lose the transitions, but you can apply transitions within proclaim after the slides have been imported. There will be differences between transition features in Proclaim than those available in PowerPoint.
