Searching

1 Corinthians 15:3–4

For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures,

4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, ^{^[1]}

So I think to myself..how may other verses have “died” and “raised” in close proximity?

Bible search:

died WITHIN 20 WORDS raised >> was not in the search

Why? So I tried

<LouwNida = LN 23.99> WITHIN 20 WORDS <LouwNida = LN 23.94>

STILL DOES NOT WORK

Scriptures WITHIN 10 WORDS buried >> did not work

Any ideas? Trying to get to the "died buried raised" in that order in a search

Hi Michael

The problem here is that Bible searches don't span verse boundaries.

You can do this using a Basic Search (which searches for everything in an article - which in a Bible is a chapter) but it isn't as nice.

Michael, most resources are not tagged for events so an All Resources search is going to skip many resources.

In ESV, I used a Basic search for died,death BEFORE buried BEFORE raised as that ensures the order of the words.

As well as Romans and 1 Corinthians, it produces a third result in starting in Acts 2:24; which properly starts in Acts 2:29

Tried modifying Morph Query Document to find Acts 2:24, 2:29, 2:32 (using Greek roots), but only found Romans and 1 Corinthians in New Testament
