I'm experiencing a consistent error in trying to watch the Mobile Ed free course of the month. All internet connections up and running OK. Any suggestions? (MacOS 10.15.4)
Sorry to hear that you are having this difficulty.
You should be able to fix this problem by downloading these videos to your computer
That worked. Thanks [:)]
A follow-up question. This is the first time I had experienced the issue with a Mobile Ed course. Don't videos automatically download after the course is purchased and the application is restarted just like books?

No, As the videos are BIG many laptops would rapidly run out of space on their hard drives. After finishing the course, if one is running out of space one can go to the folder where they are stored and delete them. They are sitting on the Logos servers ready to be used again if/when wanted.
That's curious to me given that this is the first time I have encountered this issue and was asked to download the content as a solution. I have 21 Mobile Ed courses.
Random things happen! When I play any videos from my courses they get downloaded onto my drive and any repeat playings are from my drive not the internet. Not sure if this is the same for everyone. On a PC go to where Logos is stored on your drive and go: Logos, Data, A folder with a jumble of letters and numbers, WebCache (I am not sure if a MAC is the same.)and you will see where any downloaded files are. Their names are again a jumble of letters and digits. You can experiment to find out if just playing course videos will save them onto your drive. The date modified will tell you when they downloaded. You can't play them just by clicking them.If you have dozens and dozens of them you can just delete them.

For sure [Y]
I wonder if I deleted them off my drive now it would return to the default behavior of accesses them from the Faithlife servers. What do you think?
Yes, you can definitely delete them. The next time you access any given video, it will once again download to your web cache folder.
It should.
There have been issues from time to time streaming a specific course, which FL typically fixes on their end, but this might just have been a coincidental internet hiccup.
If downloading then deleting them doesn’t fix the issue (but other Mobile Ed courses continue to stream normally), I’d suggest posting about the specific course issue in the Mobile Ed forum.
Can anyone get this to show up in their Courses Tool?

It fixed my issue. Thanks!
To delete the downloaded media there is a way to do if from logos. If you open the course media from the library. Press on the 3 dots on the right hand side of the screen and you will see this menu. If you have any downloaded media associated with this course the software will allow you to delete it.
Thank you for the link, Joe. I sometimes travel where I will not have internet access. In those cases, I have sometimes wanted to make specific courses available while I am offline. This link will allow me to pick which ones I can make available.
